For those keen eyed visitors to the club’s website, you may have noticed the recent addition of a 5th team within the senior section of the club.
This newly established team will come into being at the start of the new season. The aim is to form a squad of social rugby players who can play on an occasional basis. Therefore, the team will not be entered into a league but play on a friendly basis every 3 to 4 weeks throughout the season.
The team will be inclusive and everyone who makes themselves available will get game time on a Saturday afternoon. If you are a former player who would like the odd run out on a Saturday afternoon, inexperienced but would like to experience a more social rugby experience, or fairly young and wondering about the senior rugby environment we would like to hear from you.
You don’t have to be able to commit to every match but we are looking to have a large contact list which enables us to select a squad for each game.

A few details would be useful such as your preferred position and your level of experience and hopefully an e-mail address which we can contact you on, towards the start of the new season.
For those that can make it, senior training takes place at the club on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm almost every week with the 3rd and 4th teams training together, any new or returning players are very welcome.
