The event brought together an enthusiastic crowd of ladies for an afternoon filled with celebration, community spirit, and heartfelt generosity ahead of the 1st XV game with Belsize Park.
Alongside a delicious three course lunch, the major highlight of the day was the raffle and auction, which helped boost the fundraising total. Organisers extended their sincere thanks to everyone who donated prizes, as well as to the many attendees whose contributions made such an impressive result possible.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support shown by the ladies of the club,” Jemma Finch - joint organiser with Lorna Hooks - said. “The generosity of everyone involved means we can make a meaningful contribution to a charity doing vital work for people affected by breast cancer.”
This year’s Ladies’ Lunch reinforced the club’s reputation for rallying behind good causes — and doing so in memorable style. Our next fundraising event will be the sold out Christmas lunch on 13th December, with all funds going to The Wave Wranglers the transatlantic rowing duo of 1st XV player and coach, George Attfield and friend Olly Rathbone who are raising money for The British Heart Foundation.
