Martin was a well known and much-valued presence at the club, not only as a parent proudly watching his sons play rugby, but also as a much loved member of the club.

He could be seen several times a week maintaining the 4G pitch, painting lines on the grass pitches and helping with countless other jobs around the site. Martin also supported our larger events, helping with the car parking and making sure that everything was tidy and running smoothly.

Most Saturdays, he would be at the club watching whichever of our teams happened to be playing, always with a cup of tea in his hand and enjoying the atmosphere.

Martin was a true club man who had time for everyone. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always smiling. He will be greatly missed by so many people across the club.
