As places open up again across England, here is how we are ensuring HRFC remains a safe environment for everybody.

Although ‘Freedom Day’ has now arrived we’d like to ensure that we are being responsible and playing our part in providing as safe an environment for our players, members, volunteers and staff, particularly whilst cases continue to rise, so will be adopting the following approach;

On field, scrums and mauls are back and no restrictions are in place. Our coaches will continue to ensure that equipment is regularly sanitised and that good hand hygiene practices are maintained.

We encourage all players to make use of lateral flow tests as often as possible.

Off field, no restrictions are in place for spectators, social distancing is advised.

In the clubhouse, we will be retaining the following measures;

  • Hand sanitising stations remain available at all entrances, please use them.
  • Staff will be required to wear face coverings so we can keep them as safe as possible.
  • Enhanced cleaning regimes will remain in place.
  • We will continue with table service only.
  • Toilets, change rooms and showers will not be available midweek.

Finally, please do not come to the club if you are experiencing symptoms of illness of any form. Let’s do all the things we want to do responsibly and beat this thing into submission!
