Two testing friendlies against Regional 1 SE and Regional 2 Anglia opposition await Harps at the end of August. The first will be a repeat of last year with Westcliff visiting Redbourn Lane for a Friday night fixture. The Essex side finished 9th in Regional 1 South East last season with 3 critical consecutive wins at the end of the season to secure their level 5 status.

The following Saturday, Cheshunt will be the visitors to take on both the 1st and 2nd XVs. Cheshunt had a historic 2025/26 season, sweeping all before them in Counties 1 with 18 wins from 18 games and an incredibe 18 try bonus points. Their perfect season was curtailed at Twickenham with defeat to Novocastrians in the National Cup final.

Preseason training continues at pace with training at the club on Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.30pm - 9pm. New players and returning players are always welcome to join the squad.
