The end of last season may not feel like long ago, but plans for the 2025/2026 season are close to being finalised.
Preseason training will get underway on Thursday 26th June for the senior men's section with the traditional blowing off of the cobwebs, followed by a squad bbq. From there on in, training will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7.30pm at the club.
New players of all levels are more than welcome, simply turn up and join. Or if you would like more info contact us on rugby@hrfc.com or via our social media channels.
Following on from the senior tour to Bilbao between 16th and 18th August, there will be three friendlies.

2nd XV vs Old Grammarians (H)
The first league fixtures will take place on Saturday 6th September. Fixtures are still to be announced, however the 1st XV league has been confirmed with Harps being placed in Regional 2 Thames. This will see us renew rivalries with a number of teams we haven't played for a number of seasons in the London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire region.

Belsize Park
Brunel University

Harpenden
London Irish Wild Geese

The make up of the newly created Hertfordshire leagues is still to be confirmed but the 2nd XV will be slotting into level 9 of the national league structure, which has been long awaited and will provide regular and consistent competition throughout the season.
The 3rd XV will once again be in the Herts merit leagues, with full details to be confirmed through the summer.
