Chelford Fabrics has a long established link with Harpenden RFC, way back to the time when our late founder Bob Bashford skippered a successful 1st team in the mid 70’s, and have throughout the decades supported, sponsored and participated in the seniors and colt’s sections.

Harpenden RFC along with our other sponsored local club Harpenden Cricket Club both hold the values we at Chelford Fabrics look to aspire to, a winning ethos, equal opportunities, fair play and working (playing) at the highest standards. As a company Chelford Fabrics was founded in 1980 primarily as a fabric wholesaler, then branching out into retail at fist just selling curtaining and upholstery fabrics. These days we are a trade recognised specialist, maker, designer, supplier and professional installer of all types of window soft furnishings, offering a vast selection from all the top manufactures.
