Over 60 teams took the field across all the competitions with 7s of the highest standard being played from sides from as far afield as Fiji, Hong Kong, France, Czech Republic, Scotland, Wales as well as the best English talent.

UK Armed Forces secured the Singleton Cup on the day in the men's elite tournament beating Preseli Babas 17-12. However, a place in the final was enough to secure enough points to give them the Elite LIT Super Sevens Series title.

In the women's elite tournament Hammerheads took home the trophy with a 26-12 win in a pulsating final against Shogun. The win also meant that they walked walked away as LIT Super Sevens Series winners.

The home fans were not left disappointed as The Clubhouse Bar took the Vets 10s trophy from holders The Grand Junction Arms (Tring).
